Lunch & Learn: Building Power to Dismantle the School to Prison Pipeline
MBK Wake is hosting a Lunch and Learn for community organizations and non-profits. This topic will be continuing the discussion on the school to prison pipeline and how to effectively advocate on behalf of your students and children. This virtual event will be led by Letha Muhammad and Fernando Martinez of Education Justice Alliance to teach participants new ways to handle school suspension and policing. Furthermore, we will continue to build on our theme of collaboration and discuss opportunities to help make a greater impact on the youth in our county.
