My Brother’s Keeper Wake County

MBK Wake County works with organizations and programs serving as allies of Black, Brown, Indigenous youth and young adults in Wake County, North Carolina. We also host workshops, trainings, support and community building Lunch & Learns. We foster engaging discussions about the state of our community and need to support youth and young adults especially boys and young men of color.

My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) is an initiative launched by President Barack Obama in 2014 to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential.
Core Competencies
MBK Wake County's core competencies include community building and organizational collaboration. We host community events such as Lunch and Learns to bring unity back to community. This is an opportunity to meet other organizational leaders and work effectively to move the needle in Wake County.
